Anyone who knows me knows that I hate the race card.

However, those are literally the only two things they have in common. As QB's they are nothing alike.

Lets see um they both throw the ball. You cant be seriuos and say they are 2 different Qbs just becuase Flynn could scramble. Flynn is not a running QB he has decent speed, but he is a throw first QB.

Dont try so hard to challenge things he just reminds me of him I am not saying that he is a prototype of Flynn.

IMO no way. He will be drafted very highly in the MLB Draft and we've seen before guys who are "All LSU" then at the last minute go pro in baseball...money talks, bottom line.

He's the reason why I think the staff is fine with signing 27 prospects this year (1 backcounter).

From his film, Lee would be the best passer on the roster next year (unless Garrett is legit)

He's legit.

From what I have seen, yes. As good a prospect as Lee, dunno. Will find out of Lee makes it to campus

There are three options here:
A. A comes to LSU and stays. Best option.
B. He never comes here, goes for the money. Second best option.
C. My fear and maybe the most likely. He comes here uses up a scholarship while never getting playing time behind Chris Garrett and or JJ and then after Garrett goes pro in football ZL goes pro in baseball and we are left with another year of freshman and sophmore qb's trying to lead the tigers.

You are not going to live very long if you are worrying about LSU's quarterback situation three to four years down the road. None of us are supposed to be here past 2012 anyway

From the little I've seen, they are not really alike at all. I'd say Lee is more like a Snead, Mallet type QB. Flynn's arm strenght was never that good.

1-2 million dollar signing bonuses will have any 18 yr old kid wavering.

the article mentioned the he is the top pitching prospect in the nation.

the article was mistaken. he is a very good pitching prospect, but he isn't even the top pitching prospect of LSU's current baseball commits.

how hard can he throw? If its mid 90's with even an average breaking ball he will get drafted early based on that big P.

I heard he might enroll in January. I don't know If that would affect his eligibility for the draft or if he would go out for the baseball team in the Spring.

That would be fantastic if true. It would definitely mean that he would be ineligible for the draft.

He has the academics. The LSU coaching staff is pushing him hard.

Hidden Flask is no racist. I seen him run..he is slow...

Just kidding

But he's no no more racist than you are TP.

That being said I thought Zach Lee was black.
Shows what I know. (not much)

Glad to read his mom wants him to go to college.
Nothing beats an education, theres always time for these guys to make money in the pro's and they will never have the chance to relive the college experience.

gotta stay at a D-1 school for 3 years hause...If he starts in football and baseball he would prolly stay till he's a senior unless he was just an absolute stud college player...

Actually you are wrong about that. He always had the better legs of the qbs when he was here. Never was a pocket passer and actually great at running the option.

MLB draft is first week of June, and Lee can sign his LOI and it has no binding effect on his professional career.

A few previous players to follow this track are Xavier Avery (RB commit to UGA in 2008) signed with the Orioles for 900K and Destin Hood (WR commit to bama in 2008) signed with the Nationals for $1.1 mil. And Casey Kelly (QB commit to Tenn) signed with the REed Sox for something like $3 mil.

Matt Tuiasosopo signed with the Mariners out of HS for $2 mil-ish after signing his LOI with the Huskies.

I don't expect him on campus and its a shame. Kid looks as good as any prospect I have seen LSU in on in a while.
