Joe McKnight. Man, that day sucked when he chose USC.

I’ve never seen a meltdown on here like there was that day.

Did we ever have a legit shot at Peyton?

hell no...

we were just coming out of the Dark Ages of LSU football, and he wasn't connected to the school in any way, shape, or form... it wasn't till Kevin Faulk that big time LA recruits started coming to LSU...

Am I trippin or at one was it believed that LSU was the favorite to land Ed Oliver? But then family ties led him to Houston?

Adoree Jackson

Good one! Following his recruitment was so amazing. I loved this board during that time.

But I really thought Adoree was coming here. Think it came out actually from LSU sources that we literally almost got him. It was that close.

I thought Texas stole ya tittle and licked in in a dorm and he called LSU and snuck out. There was a interview with John David crow about a bale of hay with money in it on his farm. Deizel told the story too.

Y.A. Got licked in a dorm in Austin?

I’m sure that’s a typo but I also believe it at the same time
