Which past recruit (that LSU had a legit shot at landing) would you consider "the one that got away"? Meaning, the one you wish we would have landed the most.

I think a good argument could be made for any legitimate QB that we had a shot with in the past 11 years, but I'm going with Ed Oliver. I wanted him at LSU very badly.

Thoughts?

When things are going well and a person just has to be miserable it is always a good idea to re-hash and dwell on shite from the past in order to be sad.

Dude, you have a problem with seeking conflict. There was nothing in the OP that implied misery, or anything other than a good natured attempt to talk about past recruiting.

God you're pathetic as always. This isn't negative it's just discussion in a pretty slow time. Quit stirring shite up.

I’ve never worked for a college program or have been involved in recruiting, so none have gotten away from me.

Lache Seastrunk.

Only because his courtship got me into recruiting.

More recently I'd have to say Travis Etienne or Amik Robertson.

He can’t help it, bless his heart. His battle cry has always been “If you don’t like my OP, you shouldn’t feel obligated to respond”. But, here he is, giving his unsolicited response to a thread he doesn’t like. Hypocrite much, Ree?

I am not miserable at all. I am always overly optimistic about LSU football- almost to a fault. I'm super pumped about this season.

This was an attempt to have a discussion about past recruits on a forum dedicated to LSU football recruiting.

You seem like the miserable one.

Have a lovely day, douchebag

Damn, weird that you created an account to post on a recruiting forum then.

Gunner Kiel. He didn’t turn into a good qb, but I thought he would change our QB recruiting reception forever

Travis Etienne

If we wanted him all we had to do was offer him early.

The 5 for 5 debacle was a shitshow also.

Vince Young in 2002. We came in #2. Went to same high school Jerel Meyers. Might’ve been us instead for the Rose Bowl 2005.
