Mathis will likely be a career back-up at Bama based on their recruiting year in and out at that position.

Bruh, Mathis is the only 5 tech that Bama has landed in 3 years. That's the whole reason he's going there.

These kids don't remember us being better than Bama. Miles took a superior program and let someone else turn the tables. It will be hard to change it anytime soon.

Bear Bryant was famous for the very same strategy and tactics vs Tenn, Ole Miss, and LSU.

Reading your first post in this thread it's obvious who the dipshit is.

Exactly Delta Doc, saban takes kids just to keep them from LSU, bear did the same thing I actually feel a little bad that some of these kids are that naive to believe the saban bs and leave a state where they would be hometown hero's.

Any kid in LA good enough to play at this level I want in P&G. Period. And every 'loss' to Bama disappoints.

It's premature to say how any of them will turn out there. Some mostly fill a spot on the roster (DL from N. La, Sentimore, Sylve) but others do well (Lacy, Collins, Williams, Cam). Our supply chain going forward is going to be LA. So we've got work to do.

Where I think we've lost the most ground is we stopped competing with Bama on a level playing field, i.e., Les's philosophy on O. Players see that. They see that they won't be a 'difference-maker' even if they come here and they won't compete for championships.

That's the culture change that O has to overcome.

I see it as a win win. Get rid of players who aren't loyal to the Tigers, bring on OOS players that want to become P&G legends who will help us beat those Crimson pukes

If LSU wasn't about to pull in a top ten arse with a possibility of a top five class during a coaching change I would be more worried. As long as you replace every in state player with a talented out of state player why does it matter?

Now this is A thread. Jesus Christ y'all. All those guys named are going to play a lot at Bama because they're good as frick.

Yep. These people on this board go through this crap everytime trying to make themselves believe the situation is less bad than it really is. You say Hootie, Cam Sims, I say Robinson, Lacy, Williams, Collins.

It's funny that they now believe than NONE of them will start any, if at all at Bama, and that's a load of shite. Using just recent history at least half will do incredibly well at Bama while the others may be career backups, likely similar to what they would have done at LSU. Not all top talents pan out.

It is about getting players who want to be Tigers. Be nice if they were from Louisiana, but our OOS players are some of the best in the country.
