Duckworth in 2026 would be ideal. Houston can still come in 2027. I guess Nussmeier is out now.

Some seriously elite athletes in college and NFL have made college decisions based on early PT.
The difference is that elite QBs can get paid and compete for the job and, if it doesn't work out, get another bag from a different school the next year without penalty.

Yes, especially with HS QBs where most need to red shirt their first year if possible. You’re paying a guy to sit the bench and hopefully you don’t lose him to the portal. It’s why most think it’s a better idea to get starter levels out of the portal rather than throwing a young QB in the fire of the SEC too early

We have 1 scholarship QB you have to take a QB in every class. We didn't take a QB in the last class or this one so far. We need a QB. Houston isn't going to get "scared." Competition breeds excellence and this isn't putting in a crowded room its putting together a good room.
