Like Deuce Chestnut and Zye Alexander?

Do you actually watch the games? Alexander has an ideal size and frame for a CB. Yeah, he definitely took his lumps early in the season, but he was starting to play well when he got hurt. I know the defense was bad this year, but Alexander was by far our best CB when he went down.

And Brandon Fiske is from Western Michigan on the FSU D-line. He was unblockable against Louisville.

He's a fantastic QB. Better than a lot of these overrated retreads

It's really not an equalizer. The overrated stay overrated, just less so. The underrated, stay underrated, just less so. It's crazy how recruiting rankings at 17/18 years of age can be an anchor or an excuse for on-field performance.

True to a certain extent. Like a crazy woman, coaches think they are the ones who can change the failed 5-star.

But lots of players do move up and down.

Man Alexander still wasn’t very good. He just looked better because our other CBs are absolute garbage.

Couple of observations;

The QB list tells me they are riding with Nuss and just need an experienced backup for emergency purposes.

Husky and Bryant are takes at CB no doubt. Both would be immediate impact players. Let's pay up.

Looks like they expect some OL guys to declare for the draft and/or transfer.

Either they haven't seen many DL they like, or they go some good news with guys coming back. However they could just be waiting for more to enter.

You do realize that the nfl is comprised of dudes from all schools. There are numerous examples of athletes who were 1st round talents had the been at a premiere school.

You dumbasses keep looking at were they played and how many stars they have. I’ll take the PFF grade against college athletes.

When you take a bunch of 3-4 star players and they ALL look bad all season, what’s the common thread?

Put Alexander and a few of these other guys in a less complicated defense where we attack and play less zone, and watch them all improve. A better, more experienced DB coach wouldn’t hurt, either.

If we have to go the Bucknell, UPenn, Holy Cross route we are in trouble. We are LSU.

If you are discounting those players strictly due to their current school, then perhaps you haven't been paying attention.
