I did SEARCH with his last name and full name and I got zero results. If I did it wrong, well, I tried. You dont have to be such a Karen.

I wondered if he was just to pricy in NIL money.

Its a good point that we can wait it out and try to go get him in a vmcouple of years

Thanks for anyone to explain it to me like I am a 5 year old.

Think of it like this because it works multiple ways. There could be a generational world beater at a non-QB position that LSU is willing to pay top money for because the liklihood of that player starting and impacting Game 1 is high.

So a QB like Haven is going to demand Underwood money because of potential but will not likely start Game 1 at LSU and is also likely to bolt to the portal down the road.

I have long thought too that in this modern recruiting era that HCs are afraid of players like Manning, Underwood, Haven, etc that cost a lot of money and might sit the bench for a term. That is how HCs get on the hotseat.

The date range for his search may have been too limited.

Have you watched him play ?

I have, only one game and it may have been his worst game of his career.

Against St Charles Catholic (dispte SCC not having any D1 prospects won the state title) Haven paniced under pressure threw 3 int's. and lost the game.

Even good QB's have bad outings, he was bad that night.

2 reasons imo

1. They think Pop is better
2. The chances either get playing time next year are low. If Haven is commanding a premium price for what will amount to a backup role for a year then it’s not worth it.

Not a fan of Haven technically, his throwing motion and footwork need alot of work but you can see a world where he develops and is a great college qb in a few years. I think Pop is most ready to play SEC Qb in 2028 but you can see the really high celling with Haven and the athleticism that everyone loves.

Because Haven isn’t a 5* QB, he is a 5* athlete.

I watched multiple games of his and never once thought yeah that kid is coming to start for LSU.

Haven and Houston will always be linked now. I’m excited to see them compete head to head this weekend at the Elite 11 Finals. Houston was supposedly very impressive at the New Orleans regional Elite 11.

It's barely worth it to go after one high level QB out of high school, much less two.
