Let’s start helping Brian…

I want a new coach. BK has had some amazing moments, but I’m sick of us not showing up prepared to big games. Same ole shite, this isn’t getting better soon

a new coach is not even an option. realistically, lsu needs a vast shakeup and improvement on D. House showed promise last year but it's going to be hard to justify keeping him around. LSU needs a DL coach, a safety coach and a CB coach. Plus, LSU will have to rely heavily on the portal again because there are holes to fill.

I would believe a new DC hire would clean house and bring in his own coaches. That’s what needs to happen right now. If that doesn’t work and we continue to suck at recruiting CB’s and D lineman then BK 100% needs to go

Matt House is tied for 4th highest paid defensive coordinator at $1,850,000 We can do better.

House’s defense has surrendered 32 TDs and 407 ypg so far this year. Clemson’s DC Garrett Riley’s defense gave up 20 TDs and only 266 ypg. A&M Coordinator DJ Durkin 13 TDs and 269 ypg, Notre Dame DC Jim Knowles 15TDs and 279 ypg Louisville DC Bryan Brown 19 TDs. These are just to name a few. Also, keep an eye on Dave Aranda who is on the hot seat at Baylor. He was one of LSU’s best DC ever.

Garrett Riley isn’t a DC

everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
Or in this case, think Clemson's OC is really their DC.

We need to throw a lot of money at the Georgia DC, Glenn Schumann, and make him be the first one to tell us no.

It's hard to hire a DC working under a defensive mastermind head coach and expect their body of work to be 100% theirs.

Baker is familiar with LSU as he was our LB coach during O’s last year

I can’t believe these people actually exist.

Or he is the perfect hire because of it. Learned from one of the best DC’s.

DO elite DC's need to be elite recruiters? I know it helps but if recruits think there getting the best development...they will come. NIL is a big factor also.

quote:I keep seeing his name and I got to ask if he’s so good why is he just an analyst for Bert at Illinois? Wisco always have a good defense stat wise because of their ground and pound offense that focuses on ball control.
but you make Leonhard say no first.
