Haven is better because he is from South Louisiana and Houston is from North Louisiana.

Between those two, it's hard to argue, just be happy you have one. I still feel like Nuss will be on board too. I felt like LSU almost couldn't lose here.

Peyton Houston is infinitely closer to Kyler Murray right now than Haven is to Cam Newton

Comparing Elijah Haven to Cam Newton is ridiculously unfair. Elijah is a prolific passer of the football, in Cam's entire career he was never considered a prolific passer of the football. Cam was considered a unicorn because of his athletic ability at his size. Elijah will never rush the ball like Cam because he rely more on his arm than his legs.

I’ve seen Haven play in person a couple of times but not Houston and I’m by no means a QB scout. To me, Haven was just okay. He does resemble Newton in several ways. Tall, moves really well. I’m not sure if his receivers can’t handle his throws or what but his slants, tunnel screens and really most of his throws are thrown with very little velocity so it’s hard to tell how strong of an arm he has. Maybe he’s done well in camps and of course velocity isn’t everything but it really made it hard to tell what he is capable of.

Agreed. Haven isn’t quite as big and explosive as Cam was.

How is Houston's arm strength? Strong enough to make the difficult throws in college?

Ziegler is playing on an 0-2 Benton team and he's really not playing well at all. I haven't been impressed.

Is it that he’s not playing well, or does he play on a shite team? Genuinely curious.
Did he camp? How did he look in camps? He still has another year after this one.
Just trying to figure out what happened between then and now

One of the things that stands out about him is his arm, it's one of the main reasons he's as highly regarded as he is

He's tremendous on the run and can throw it 40+ yards with ease, but he''s good from the pocket too, and a pretty good runner

If he was taller he'd be a top 15 prospect. I think I believe he winds up being a five star anyways

The films I’ve watched of Houston looks like he has borderline elite speed. Dude looked crazy quick and fast when he’d scramble or run. But I mean you may be right in that he’s just pretty good because you’ve probably seen him way more than me but just by what I’ve watched he looked like a great runner.

after CroikeyMate69's review, I'm ready to run through a wall with Houston.

Benton just isn't good this year, it seems. He's definitely having a bad year so far.

I’d stay far away from Haven.

This is what excites me the most about him. I have been saying since u first saw him that his ability to deliver the ball on the move is elite for a high school kid.

There is no questioning his want to be great either.
