Recruiting rankings have shifted away from the prolific QBs to all the incredible athletes at WR/RB/DE being ranked at the top. Therefore there are never more than about three 5*s per year at the QB position. But to answer the question I'd imagine it would have to be RP11. Since then, Brandon Harris is probably our highest rated QB prospect. There was Zach Lee who bailed before campus. Hayden Rettig was highly rated, but not as big as Harris I would say. After watching Cincy play, I really wish we would have landed Gunner Keil.

You could because in high school that was his position but we used him terribly at LSU

USC and Texas has had a ton of 5 star passers and still have not had any championships of late. 5 star pocket passers don't necessarily translate to wins.

Mett was the #1 JUCO QB. Not sure if he was bumped to a 5 star.

Mett was a top-250 out of HS
