Obviously excited about hopefully getting him in the class, but haven't been able to follow recruiting much recently.

I understand he plays in Michigan. Is there some family connection in LA? Is the the coaching at LSU? Just a big fan?

Just curious...can't wait to have him

Daniels and Burrow winning the Heisman Trophy plus #1 offense in the country last year plus Harbaugh possibly leaving for NFL equals Underwood to LSU.

NIL will be there for him no matter which school he chooses.

Basically he and his family just like it there. They visited LSU 4 times last year, entire family every time and 2 of those were on special/significant dates.

quote:

Regarding LSU: “Great coaching staff, amazing coaching staff, amazing atmosphere. The program itself is very historical. A lot of great players went in and out of Louisiana State University. The food is amazing. It’s a lot of real people out there. A lot of people from Michigan. A lot of things we can relate to.”

Never take for granted the world class quality of the food in Louisiana.

He visited LSU during the Auburn game.
We destroyed Auburn.
In Tiger Stadium.
At night.

Visits to other schools after that were out of respect. A high school kid doesn’t come into that environment and walk away unimpressed.

Strong veteran offensive line for the foreseeable future could also be a factor including many already mentioned.

Whatever it is, I don't get the sense that it's all about money. If he performs, the money is going to be for him regardless of where he goes anyway. I just hope that there are more like him for LSU in 2025.
