There could plenty of other reasons that their class is subpar

like recruits remembering that they just went 8-4 and are poised to do the same in 2022

9-3 is their ceiling this year. They don’t have a QB that can win big games.

I'm sure the NCAA sent them a nice little memo about what is allowed and not allowed
My guess is that was a warning shot to avoid penalties if it continues
Problem is they refuse to look into Tuscaloosa who is throwing out money terms about their players which in essence is used in recruiting, how is it different?

It’s probably not even about the money. They just don’t want to go to school with a bunch of freaks

a big boy from Miss.

Scrolling thru TAMU's 2022 class and wondering if MS is correct? At a quick check, i'm not sure I see any big boys from MS. Nolen is TN and Brownlow-Dindy is GA, but other than that, i'm stumped.

I won’t believe they are bouncing checks unless that freshman class has a bunch of transfers after the year is done. I can’t imagine anyone there would be so shortsighted as to promise money and then not pay, that’s the dumbest thing you can possibly do for recruiting.

I absolutely believe that they implied that way more money was going to be paid than actually ended up being paid. This happens all the time with job offers- it sounds great on paper then you get there and the commission structure is unattainable in reality, etc. I’m thinking delusional arse A&M created a scenario for many recruits on paper, either intentionally or unintentionally, that they can’t deliver in reality.

They acted like it was a gold rush last year but, didn’t have the money to back up their NIL promises

Now that everyone has a level playing field, they are back to 8&4 life

They probably have the money but I could see them back tracking on some things fearing some retro active NCAA punishments. I could see some admins wanting to reign things in a bit before it completely spun out of control

Phenomenal point you made here (A&M is the biggest winner when LSU & UT are down and vice versa)

And it doesn’t often get made, and/or it is often overlooked but you are spot on 100% accurate.

last year was a perfect storm of events ocurring simultaneously, and it created a perfect environment for the Aggies to sign that incredible class - NIL, LSU & UT struggling, coming off of that BAMA victory at home, etc.

Without that confluence of events All occurring simultaneously there is no way in hell A&M would have signed that historic class!!!
