There is definitely some truth to this. Dude is declining in a very Les Miles-like manner. I expect him to start eating grass soon...

I could never imagine saying we dodged a bullet on Jimbo by taking O and walking away with NC hardware

I don't know but I hope Mathews comes home after a year of getting their money.

I think he went back to Olive Branch as a junior because I believe he was teammates with that OT project we signed from there who never made it to campus (Jalen Shead) and there was speculation on the rant that we were taking him to get in with Nolen. Then last summer Nolen moved to Knoxville and Shead quit football. Lol

rumors abound of several 2022 recruits looking for new teams come December, when they can transfer w/o loosing a year. To a fellow conference team. Maybe a La.kid, 2 Florida kids, and a big boy from Miss.. Of course only (Rumors) for now. Lol

Jokes aside, coaching a program like A&M or LSU is definitely a lot of pressure. Lots of stress, heavy time commitment, little sleep. Different men respond to that prolonged pressure in different ways. For some, it eats at their faculties over time. I think the comparison between Jimbo and Les is fair in this situation.

I agree, I think this is a case of the shiny new thing is no longer different from everything else. A&M had NIL pinned from the get-go, and that was their only advantage. Now that the playing field has leveled out, they’re back to where they were before. And programs like LSU and Bama are back where they’re supposed to be. They had one year, one opportunity to land as many pieces as they could and they did. Now we’ll see how many just love the place like Jimbo implied.

They're actually in a worse off position.

Thought shead was a tight end.
Did he ever end up anywhere or did he actually quit football?

I thought he was a TE they were projecting at OT like Ray Parker. I could be wrong, though.

I thought he just quit, but again, I could be wrong on that. There's been no activity on his Twitter in over a year and he's still got his LSU commitment poster pinned. Also, a google search doesn't produce anything but LSU-related results.

There's a different Jalen Shead who is a DL at Millsaps, but that guy is from Memphis and is definitely not the same Jalen Shead that signed with LSU.

The shite show Jimbo left at FSU tells you all you need to know about the guy. It's no shocker this is happening with him again.

Wonder if Jimbo’s new wife is playing ‘Hide the salami’ with a player/s in College Station like the last one did in Tallahassee??
