Their massive NIL promises have turned out to be very falsified.

Also, now that they have the reputation of “dolling out huge NIL money” all recruits are expecting to hear about it/get a cut. Now that the words out that not everyone is getting 6 digit NIL contracts like they lead everyone to believe.. kids are looking elsewhere. Just like before. They may bag 1 or 2 big fish a year by throwing a million at them. But it’s asinine to give every 17-18 year old that kind of money. Without any promos that they’ll even pan out.

All this talk of players not getting their money just sounds like speculation to me. Seems like wishful thinking. Does anybody actaully have proof of this?

Idk about the decommits, but the high end recruiting like they pulled off last year is not sustainable for a school like that. They got the jump on everyone with NIL while everyone else was playing it cool and it won’t happen again. There are too many schools with deep pockets and only so many players to go around.

It's definitely not because it's in BFE. I live on the NW side of Houston and it's only an hour drive.
I can't imagine it's because checks are bouncing.
The Ags actually have competition this year. Last year they had first mover advantage, while other schools were caught flat footed.
Last summer when it was announced, I only remember the NILSU billboard in Times Square. That probably didn't even reach the eyes of recruits.
