What ever happened to Victorian

I remember reading on here about Victorian being kicked off Barbes team.. Did he transfer somewhere? Is he still intending to bypass college and sign pro? Just curious because the dude was a stud pitcher

I don't know where he is. I know he is not coming back to Barbe or any CPHS. I heard that Glen was trying to help him find a spot at IMG or another private academy, but nothing emerged. I also heard that while he wasn't ever planning to get to LSU he reconnected with the staff to try and make things work out. Sounds like he got some news from scouts that he wasn't likely to get real money from the draft. It just goes to show how easy things can slip away from these kids.

I'm going from memory so I may not have the facts exactly straight, but I think someone here said he pulled a knife on someone at school. I don't know any specifics, so maybe someone else can give more details.

I believe it was the strength coach he pulled a knife on.
He was expelled and I think his appeal is still going on.

The kid had a tough break. He will bounce back though. Love a good redemption story and I can't wait to see this one unfold!

he isnt at barbe. i believe but am not certain he is at the alternative school that are for the kids expelled or suspended etc.
last i heard he was going to play for banditos and prolly juco but that is just rumors. Havent talked to him or family or anything.

I’m not justifying the kids actions, but from nearly all accounts the adult(who is an LSU commits dad) was far out of line and did everything he could to provoke Landon.

He was trying to make things work out because an offer from a place like LSU is leverage for a larger bonus. If your only options are JUCO and the draft, your signing bonus is going to take a major hit. From his schoolwork to his actions, Victorian could pen a paper on “How to Decrease Your Leverage/MLB Signing Bonus”.

His best bet is to go JUCO for a year and do everything in his power to show scouts that he is not a liability.

One of the strength coaches had been riding him about missing workouts and stuff and words were exchanged. They met with head coach in his office trying to talk it out and put behind him and dude pulled a knife on the strength coach in the coaches office right in front of the head coach is what I was told.
