The Josh Booty Saga.
And the infamous Zach Lee. Everyone was anticipating his debut and he left us at the altar at the last minute for baseball.

THE GREATEST SAGA EVER: Quad Brown's recruitment or lack there of. His coach went scorched earth on here when his precious baby boy didn't get an LSU offer.
That's a close one, but I think the even better one was Stevie Douglas (I'm pretty sure it was him, someone can correct me if I'm wrong) and Clean just burying one of his family members

100% the Joe McNight commitment to USC after the so called “split title”. It hurt to loose the #1 RB when he was instate. He was the Landon Collins meltdown bf the Landon Collins meltdown happened.

Joe McKnight meltdown was fun honestly

The posters who care about recruiting like I do.
Cajuns gif he made for me on this board.
Having you make my own bat signal for me personally is pretty awesome after starting here at 22 and now being 35.
This place is awesome and I look forward to the youngsters coming up to continue this place

Luther Davis sneaking off to visit Alabama and lying to the LSU coaches about it. There were minute-by-minute updates on Luther sightings.

Everyone getting strapped up and riding for Quille was fun times.
This right here. I also fondly remember the year Ricky Seal Jones was a Sr. Some insiders on this board were sure he was LSU bound.

From 2010 recruiting class:
"Les Miles sure knows how to close.
After Lane Kiffin was the one piling up signing day flips last year, it was Miles in Baton Rouge doing it this year. He snared 4* WR Kadron Boone, a guy who decommitted from Texas Tech after the Mike Leach fiasco started, and got two other guys to do NSD decommits: 4* DE J.C. Copeland (Tennessee) and 4* WR Jarrett Fobbs (Texas A&M). Those nabs helped shore up yet another top 10 class for LSU, which hasn't been ranked below 11th in recruiting by anyone since 2005."

Additionally, Ego Ferguson committed on that same National Signing day, after this article was written.

Definitely not the “best” memories but
The losses definitely bring the moat drama
McKnight, Landon Collins, Cam Robinson

The Adoree Jackson recruitment.
What a shitshow. He was high on LSU until NSD when it looked like USCw. Then NSD came and went with nobody getting his LOI. Rumors were that his father wanted him to go to LSU and took his LOI, refusing to let him sign it

Was lurking during those days but 5 for 5 almost wrecked this site but ended up with the two best ones out of that mess. Also Pat Pete during the US Army All American week. DeCommitted from Miami said LSU was out of picture because of Miles rumors to Michigan picks LSU during the game.

The Russell Sheppard commitment thread ... Rueben Randle committing to the good guys, on the downside, being at the recruiting bash during the Janzen Jackson saga, waiting for his paperwork to come in, only come to find out he went to Tennessee.
That recruitment didnt work out for anyone, least of all Fulmer and UT.
