Has a lot of talent for sure. Would like to see what our staff can do to clean up his mechanics but would be exciting thats for sure.

Chambliss and Ferris State were both supposed to supply records to the NCAA, neither have. Ferris is hamstrung if these are medical records requiring a signed document from Chambliss for release. Something smells.

There are enough talented QB's out there right now where we don't need to put ourselves in that situation. Chambliss would be an amazing pickup but I'm not screwing up other options waiting for him.

I love Sorsby's potential in a Kiffin offense. Much like Chambliss, I just wish he had more than one year of eligibility. Still, I'll take either for a CFP run.
But I think Kiffin's mini-rebuild will take at least two years before LSU is in championship contention and a two-year student under Kiffin might be better equipped to handle that.

If LSU is serious about becoming the consistent contender a la Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia that has eluded us for decades we need to start having the mentality that we plan to be championship caliber THIS year.

Maybe but if our offer is comparable we have the edge basically every where else. At some point, especially at qb development has to account for something to these guys

Plus, this is a relatively weak QB class for NFL Draft. He might be better moving to NFL if there is uncertainty on his collegiate return.
