I honestly don't have a problem with UT folks......arrogant? Sure, but you'd be surprised how arrogant LSU fans are.
I love LSU and the fans, but many have a problem with a false sense of righteousness.

they were so above dealing with street agents and offering underclassman...until their program fell apart and now they are offering 8th graders and their lead recruiter is Larry Porter who is tied to more street agents than Trooper Taylor.

My thoughts are that UT fans have a condescending attitude toward all other fan bases and expect all fan bases to bow down to them. LSU fans do not look upon UT as anything special and it frustrates them.
The conclusion UT fans draw is that LSU cheats and has regular "18 wheeler" shipments of casino chips delivered to the athletic housing facilities.

I'm an LSU guy that attends the occasional UT game with some Longhorn diehards and they don't give a shite about LSU, other than to be mildly aware of us in their understandable UT-centrism, and give us our props.

My kids will probably all go to LSU and I admit UT is superior academically in almost every way. 99% of these recruits aren't going to UT or LSU to become doctors, engineers, scientists, etc. They want to play football and possibly make it to the NFL. Texas is a declining program in football. They really have no excuse for that considering the resources and recruiting base they have at UT.

How Mack is still the head coach is beyond me. If Miles had the past three seasons Texas went through and lost so many top in-state prospects like Mack has, there would be so many For Sale signs in Miles' yard.

it's a tex-arse thanng. many atm fans are just as bad but their vitriol is tempered by their even bigger hate/jealousy trip with ut. that said, all fan bases have their twits. if you read the rant enough...this you will understand.
