re: how the hell is a&m still ranked
Posted by ChuckSteak on 10/12/14 at 1:27 pm
Because we lost to those teams when they were unranked...aTm is losing to them while in the top 5...speaking specifically about yesterday without having to go back and review their schedule. In any case, I firmly believe that the Tigers will make exceptional advances in their chemistry before the years end and we will usurp aTm's rankings in the end. Just be patient....

re: OL Prospect - Honest Assessment Needed.

Indeed as the others said, but get him into camps to test his skills.
As far as the video, I appreciate to see the fast pace sequences to see how he picks up blocks. Their overall team offense doesn't seem overly impressive. However, he seems that he need to hold a line and area as he is all over the place. Also, he needs to get a bit lower as he seems to get bolt upright and try to overpower with his upper body rather than utilizing his entire frame to create a wall. But as previously mentioned, the guy does have the right frame to make an impact at the next level with proper coaching.
Albeit, I'm no OL coach or professional, that's just my raw observation and opinion...as the rest of the guys said, get him to camps and in touch with the right people to get him with the right people at the next level.
All the best to Daishawn and here's to him making an impact to the right people! Cheers!

re: Which cities in LA are/ are not considered a lock for LSU recruiting?
Posted by ChuckSteak on 2/18/14 at 12:30 am
North LA is not as hardcore LSU as the Southern part of the state...when I went to school up there, it seems to be a different vibe towards LSU. I'm not saying it's bad but not the feel that you get in WBR, EBR, Ascension, Livingston etc etc...

Where are 504Soulja's comments on this?

He wants to not do what his mom says. That's the bottom line. I would bet if he gets a committable offer from Bama he'd flip to there, but he's not coming to LSU.
This...as much as I love the fact that April Justin loves LSU...I feel that she jammed it down LC and GWIII's throats so much that they left home just to spite her. Between both their commitments to schools outside of LA, this could be a plausible explanation. She may have in fact been our worst enemy from being too pushy...
Just a thought...too late now basically...but still a thought...

Just checked back, saw 14 posts and thought there was some useful info. NOT!!! Only "Kevin Toliver is at the practice today". The rest a bunch of BS. Come on guys lets not clutter this up with non-relevant BS.
At least it was humorous and not the same ole BS opinions and redundant questions that no one has an answer to...
Oh wait, I forgot that is the intent behind having a posting board...
re: Since '80, what dynasty comes in 2nd place behind the current Alabama dynasty?
Posted by ChuckSteak on 12/20/13 at 9:57 am
Alabama has one of the weakest schedules in he SEC by far and has for many years now. In fact, this has been the case ever since Bama has been a perennial presence in the NCG talk. So, take that FWIW.
re: 5 star MLB Clifton Garrett's a TIGER!!!!! Updated with articles and quotes

Good to have him officially a part of the LSU family. I'm sure that everyone agrees that he will be big part of a very exciting squad down in BR for the next few years...

Heck yeah! Trey will have some great seasons in BR!
re: D'Haquille Williams?
Posted by ChuckSteak on 7/7/13 at 1:38 pm
That's my sentiment exactly...the PD should pull some martial law type deal, then find out who these people are and just rid the world of their filth...
D'Haquille then can move on with his life and career as that is a busted reason to not be able to pursue your opportunities...
As a wise woman once said..."Ain't nobody got time for that!"

He played everything off very well...I hope he is a Tiger when it's all said and done but I get the feeling that going to school wi his sister will not have enough clout at the end of the day...
I predict A&M...

Meh...UT has nothing left in their tank except for hate and spite for other successful teams and schools. Let them wallow in it.
re: Garrett Brumfield article from the Advocate

After watching the ESPN 30 for 30 - Broke...it's good to know he is getting sound advice regarding football as its true as these guys can't play forever and a career is important post football days.
Would hate to see him going down that path as it was tough to watch for a couple of the guys on there...

Shaun Dion Hamilton Highlights
Don't get me wrong, the kid looks like a hard hitter and good player...but, 137 spots can be debatable...sorry to digress...

Of course, I would be shocked to see either of those guys drop regardless of any school they would commit to...and also, kudos from Brumfield to crack the top 100...definitely have him in the right zone...

I did think it was interesting that the Bama LB commit went up 137, I repeat, 137 spots...that is a bit lofty of a jump...
The main thing is that every time a player seems to make a upward move of this magnitude, 9 times out of 10, it's a Bama commit...
For instance, if CR and LF commit to LSU and make any drop in rankings following it, then I'll verify that suspicion to match with 247.

re: LSU Recruitniks, do you following the recruiting of another team....
Posted by ChuckSteak on 5/15/13 at 7:59 pm
Of course they would, I mean, how dare a top recruit not choose the Tide, eh? Completely different opinion on this side of the wall as we basically didn't need or want LC, right?
