Lagway had 5 interceptions in one game against us. Five…don’t know if Kiffin could even fix that level of suck. And there’s really no rushing upside he looked kinda slow against us.

I’d take a chance on a second year guy who was thrown into the fire as a freshman, probably without proper development as his HC was busy chasing young poon.

Well our boy Lane has done that a time or two.

Lagway is injury prone. That has severely hampered his production. He has a great ceiling as you saw in his freshman year but even then he was hurt. For the injury history alone I wouldn't get him unless he's okay sitting behind someone which I'm sure he's not.

Get the two best you can find and let them compete.

Money’s not a consideration? Then yes.

If you have to pay $5 Mil for Underwood and only $2.5 Mil for Lagway out of your pool of (let’s say) $25 Mil, then I might still go Underwood Just not 10/10 times.

Neither. Woodland used LSU and Lagway is not that good. Find someone else. Chambliss hopefully will be coming.

I agree. I think there are better options for the money and maybe even talent over both Underwood and Lagway.

Id prefer a little more mobile qb than Lagway, he's more of a MVB from a mobility standpoint and probably way less durable. But im alot higher on him than i think most here. He basically didn't play or practice for a year due to various injuries and shoulder surgery. Was very limited in fall camp to begin this season. We got a pretty rusty, out of sink Lagway when he threw the five pics against us.

Chambliss is simply the best option.
Familiar with Kiffin system.
Weakens an opponent that we have to play in Oxford again next year.
5 year guy that's mature and ready to roll.

I was at that game so I’m not sure how this is possible but even with 5 pics, Nuss still looked worse to me. Never on time. Off rhythm. Terrible decisions. Looked confused the whole game. Our pass defense was elite this year. Best since 2010 as far as tds given up thru the air and I’m pretty sure yall know what kind of dawgs we had in the secondary that year.

And yet he still finds time to make sure the qb knows what he's doing. It can be possible to do both.
