I’ve written one of two team previews for them, but it hasn’t been published yet. Davis is going to start at free safety. He is the only new starter on defense.

Westgate’s freshman class might be older than many varsity teams as well…

Noah Antoine, Chance Archangel, Caemon Crockem, Shadon Lee and Cayden Lancelin are Westgate players on the watch list.

My memory is notoriously bad, but I believe I covered a playoff game of Abbeville at Saint Martinville with those guys. Abbeville had LBs Jason Mitchell and Jermaine Wiltz
Yes. But Wiltz is older than Jason Mitchell. Both were also gone by the time Early was playing for St Martinsville.
Jason's brother, Brandon also played for Abbeville (closer to Jermaine in age). Brandon went to aTm and then won a super bowl with the Patriots.

This is great and all, but I don’t count a 2024, much less 2028, recruit until a signature is on the dotted line.
Hard to get too excited about kids in 2028. So crazy to me how recruiting has evolved in my lifetime. I imagine it won’t be long before schools have databases of the size of every child born in America and the height and weight of both their parents. They’ll be sending brochures with an official school rattle.
“2041 LSU football prospect already in size 4 diaper - at 2 months old. One to keep an eye on.”

Armani Davis will never finish high school. Kid has no guidance and rarely attends class after football season

Best freshman in Acadiana area is RB Thomas Carter from Loreauville

Well the op isn't for you then

You should stick to talking positive about players. I don’t want to read that shite.

St. Paul's has a 2028 6-3, 300 plus started at offensive guard in the scrimmage vs. John Curtis.

West Monroe has 70+ kids on its freshman team. The sophomore class is almost the same size. 220+ in the program now from freshman to varsity. They are thin on seniors, less than 30.
Maybe they are in their way back up in the next few years.

He is strong as an ox and a good kid.

Doesn't St. Paul's have some good 2028 DBs?
Posted on 8/25/24 at 10:19 am to Mr Clean
Yes, Christian Martin is going to be very good. He is extremely fast and could be SEC caliber if he grows some more.

I feel like someone from WM has posted this every year since Shows retired. Hope they can get it together, a strong WM and a strong LSU have always went hand in hand since the mid 90s early 2000s.

I have heard great things about him. I wasn’t assigned to their picture day so I haven’t gotten to look at any of their players yet.

Clean, do you know why the Taylor Qb from Airline hasn't gotten more attention, He's pretty athletic, seen he runs track, led the state in tds and yards in 5A, in a really decent district last year. He threw 8tds the other night against Neville and Northwood in their scrimmage. Has a kinda odd delivery but he doesn't have any decent D1 offers from my understanding. Whats the word on him?

Is he committed to Northwestern State?
Should put up even bigger numbers with the two WRs back.
