Keys mom- “He is committed and he does have another year,” Santana said. “He’s still trying to find out where he belongs and where his home is.”

I find it INCREASINGLY unlikely he sticks at LSU. Seems to be a leverage commitment up to this point.

So lets stop taking commitments until the letter of intent is actually signed.
STOP TRYING TO WRAP YOUR HEAD AROUND WHAT 17 YEAR OLD RECRUITS DO AND SAY.

Don't even worry about any of these kids until they are on campus in year 3 of college

The commitments for most kids are to simply reserve a spot while they go and shop around for better deals. CFB died years ago. This is now the NFL Minor League.

He doesn't want to be at LSU and I doubt he ever did. Committed to them as a safety net so he can go visit around finding the biggest payday. Rumor mill always made it seem like Tennessee was the quiet leader but Miami and Ole Miss will pay for his services.

this quote says a lot about where we are right now as a society.

Nobody is committed until they’re signed.

Sticky it at the top, because this board is going to have to adjust at some point to the new college football.

And unfortunately, even once you get them on campus some of them are still uncommitted.

If we could get rid of signing day and have kids sign when they commit, a lot of these early commitments would end, especially now that financial ramifications of being on a team are a part of the process.

Searching for the biggest bag.

He will not be at LSU at the end.

I would say that the NCAA should just send the top 300 high school seniors to Indianapolis every December and have a public auction that all P4 teams attend, but I guess that might be a bad look.

Can't say I'm in love with Dabo at Clemson, but his take on being committed is starting to make sense. If you're committed, then no visits to other teams.

He’s not committed then. You can’t say these two things at the same time. They’re mutually exclusive.

So many delusional people out there want the best of all worlds when you can’t have that. You have to choose.

If the receivers play lights-out this fall, that will tremendously influence his final decision (if any difference is less than $250K).

Anyone that tells him that he would be first round in the NFL draft (presently) and needs no development at the College level is lying through their teeth. LSU has proven numerous times that they develop receivers for the first round.
