I believe LSU will have to fight to keep a lot of its commitments. This is the norm when you recruit at the level they are this year. But, I wouldn't be any more concerned with Burton than I would half of the other commits. If LSU produces on the field they will ink an elite class. It's really that simple.

Nothing wrong with talking LSU football, but why do you people keep bringing unconfirmed gossip about this recruit or that recruit decommiting?
If we have a few recruits the decommit so be it, we will replace them with others who are close to their equivalent, or in some cases someone even better.
There is no reason for anyone to delight in the possibility of any of our recruits decommiting, or turn this board into a constant bitchfest anytime a rumor is out there about another decommit.

So a 247 reporter interviews one of our biggest recruits and "his words" and entire interview are on BOL for everyone to read. But me bringing it here for everyone to see and discuss is "unconfirmed gossip"?
And who's "delighting" in one of our recruits potentially decommitting? Talking about what one of our recruits says doesn't mean I have to like or dislike it. I hope he doesn't flip, but it's his words that are quoted, not mine.

Exactly idk what it is about these people. It’s as if they get off to misery. Let’s make this crystal clear. Bama and the rest of the big time schools all have a shot at which ever recruit we have committed. Same goes for LSU if they identify a recruit that we want to try and flip from another school. Having a slight chance and flipping them are two different things though. Once the season gets going these guys will cement themselves further and further into our class.
Bama and Clemson are just on another level at this point. The GA game last year should tell every recruit in the country and our current players that LSU is capable of beating any of these schools. They simply have to work hard at their craft and know that they can beat any team they want.
Once LSU has that playoff type of season I think Ed O will turn up the recruiting nation wide once again. Being how he’s fun to be around and personable, I think he’ll have tons of success recruiting the country. We just have to prove it on the field. Once we have proven that yes LSU can and will beat anyone even with developing players then the big time 5* player from Washington will be more willing to come play with Ed O and LSU. It’s as simple as that. These guys want to be successful while playing and get to the league. We’ve proven that we can get almost anyone into the league now it’s go out and dominate.

Didnt Stephen Guidry commit to us 2x, but then went JUCO? Then commit again, but didnt qualify? His recruitment was all over the place.
