My source and a pay site said Alabama is still pursuing. Don't ask me how. There class is all signed accept Wheaton. I don't think they are asking Wheaton or Brian to gray shirt. Can somebody that has already signed be asked to gray shirt?

Texas thinks they have a chance of flipping Wheaton. Might make space for Thomas.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about Brian Thomas!

Just let him go wherever he goes

We need Thomas because he’s a bigger / taller more physical receiver in the mold of Marshall. I think this guy will be a NFL player.

Almost as important, we don’t need another top recruit coming back in town in another Tide / now A&M uniform and having success against us. It hurts recruiting wise and competitively against The SEC west.

yep. success breeds success. It's called "momentum" and we don't want the Aggies building any more, not at our expense anyway.

Not to mention, I agree, he's NFL-level-potential talent AND size.

First of all this post is wrong!! Bama has no room for him!! The only thing right about this post his dad is looking for the highest bidder!! He’s going aTm.

Even if Bama did have room, no way they're taking him. He would be their 5th WR in this class. He'd also be their lowest rated receiver and Hall and Brooks are similar in stature.

Still too close to call. LSU has surged as of late.

Just depends what BTJ wants. A&M has one other receiver in this class and little production in front of him. Jimbo has a poor track record of developing receivers because of his style of offense. He could also come here where we put receivers in the league in droves and run a modern offense. He would have a good chance of seeing the field early here as we don’t have anyone with his body type.

My god some of you people are babies. If it was up to you to put together a recruiting class you would throw a fit and stop recruiting every kid who didn't give you a 100% firm commitment on day 1 and be left with bums

Beside Wheaton bama is hoping to sign two more on signing day. One's a DE the other is a safety. Or did you mean no room for another WR. If they whiff on the two defensive players and BTJ wants in they might very well take him.

Bama's WR group is not that experienced heading into '21. The TrFr of the '20 class didn't show much. waddle played in four games and he was still their THIRD leading receiver for the year. Even though the tides four signed WRs are rated higher than BTJ he is still good enough to bring in if there is room.

STFU.

We have good WR commitments already. If his dad is demanding $300K like everyone is saying, then let him fricking walk. He played against my son this year and didn't do shite. Looked lazy and fumbled the football while Jack Bech was making plays all over the field. I don't think that's what LSU needs.

Wasn't brian thomas the second ranked receiver not that long ago?

Where is he ranked now?

Thomas is ranked 13th on 247, behind LSU signees Hilton #11 and Smith #10.

Alabama has 3 in the top 7, Jo Jo Earle #5.

A&M has 1 in the top 50 at #23.

Malik Nabers is ranked #42 but I don't think he played last year and no camps. He could be better than the other LSU signees for all we know.

Was he just ranked 2nd on 24/7 or did he drop?
