The only thing that is missing is the unnaturally high concentration of red/maroon vehicles. I have never seen so many than I did on the interstate between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

For those who have seen this kid play is he really around 6’4? It would be nice to have a big target on the outside besides Jaray I believe all our other receivers are 6’1 and under.

He also realizes at Alabama he might not play until he is a Junior. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Devontae Smith wait.

He caught the winning touchdown in the National Championship Game his freshman year

Boutte set the all time SEC single game record for receiving as true freshman. Its not like we don't have a selling point for an incoming freshman

We dont have racey
Damn, I wish Racey would’ve stayed. If that guy stays healthy, he’s a problem. Barring injuries, he will do damage in the league.

I don’t think you can really get much into recruiting Thomas with the NCAA already up our asses.

I realize we signed some great WR’s and DB’s, but just the thought of A&M signing a stud from Walker along with Gilbert from U-High really pisses me off. I don’t want to hear about that for the next 3 years.

Well we know your wesr the shorts.

I'm not singke....but even if I was, I wear the mother fan pants when it comes to my sons and the decisions of influence. On a football decision, I'd tell wife what is best, and she would influence based on that.
"Being close to mommy" is not the decider.

Whoever signs him better prepare for the NCAA to take a hard look at it. It's fairly common knowledge dear ole dad has his hand out.

Just FYI, N2daWild, I’m hearing the opposite of your thread’s title.

Per TOS, I read a report on Wednesday that BTJ’s recruitment has started to trend in LSU’s favor during the last couple weeks. Furthermore, a trusted poster from another board believes BTJ would sign with the good guys if signing day were today.

Jenkins is going to be a beast next year. And you want a true freshman that hasn’t played a down of college level ball to come in and start immediately over him lol

Didn't Boutte basically do that? And Jenkins hasn't shown it yet. Jefferson got rave reviews from the time he got to LSU and when he got his shot, he shined. Jenkins still hasn't broken through yet. A play here and there, but no consistency. I'm not saying it can't happen. Just that after 3 years it hasn't happened, yet.
