I don't know what world you're living in if you don't think LSU fans are going to be more inclined to support business that support LSU student athletes than businesses that don't.

Yes - same as all the other non-profits, churches, charter schools, etc. Tax them all. We pay, they should pay.

Hipocrisy has been there for a LONG time; just now much more transparent how bastardized is "amateur" college football

Listen with eyeballs to all the non-existent academic top 10 lists and college football contributions to society outside of football.

Saban does not coach at Notre Dame for a reason.

Youre dead on, people just loathe truth.

CFB isn't going to last much longer before its just s recognized semi pro league with no real ties to the university.

Forget the education part. That is a joke. Just go right into NFL farm teams. And when 95%+ don’t go to the big leagues, they can either work at Popeyes or live off their investments

And what’s your point? You sound like a middle school girl who can’t sit with the cool kids.
News Flash: millions of us like “college” football. Don’t pout about it.

And what’s going to change if it’s recognized as semi pro ball? As long as they’re wearing the uniform and playing in college stadiums people will attend and watch while universities take in multi millions. SCOTUS has ruled, this genie isn’t going back in the bottle nor can any entity regulate how much money people can make.

If you are so frustrated with the game, why are you here posting about it?

Universities, like other non-profits do not have stockholders thus they do not pay dividends or have stock trading on the NYSE subject to capital gains tax, if a stockholder divest of their equity interest. However, like Universities, all employees who make salaries working at these other non-profits pay individual taxes. That has always been true for any not for profit. Not for Profits are required to file a Form 990 with the IRS to ensure the not for profit is in fact acting as such and of course who are all the major employees, etc.

All college football players earning money of their own NIL will have to pay taxes just like University Administrators, Football coaches and other coaches and faculty and staff.
