The real recruiting Kelly and Woodward will have to do now isn't to players

It is going to have to be to Louisiana Companies, Donors, Alumni etc. this offseason.
They have got to come up with every money stream they can come up with to even remotely compete with A&M and Texas.
And then they will have to recruit the Governor and Legislature to change the law to put it more in line with Texas' laws.
If they don't get that stuff in line, recruiting 4 and 5 stars isn't going to matter much.

They did do that, but all that money was spent buying out the last coach, and before the on last coach's terrible hires, and before that on the last coach's prior terrible hires.

Ive heard this a few times now. How are our laws different than theirs? What about them hinders us? So and so forth.

Not sure. I think there may be some limits coming to NIL sooner rather than later. It won't go on unchecked.

Those on here that follow this a lot closer than I do can correct me if I am wrong, but I *believe* that Texas allows Universities and Coaches to be directly involved in helping players find NIL deals, while Louisiana does not.

I get where you’re coming from, but the money people for most major programs has/is there to pay recruits. Just out in the open.
