You think Lane Kiffin just gonna hire any ole body? Pretty sure a certain championship coach probably requested Wolford when Kiffin was searching.

The fact you think those clowns can evaluate talent is hilarious. There’s a reason why they work at places like that.

He's not wrong. We are in a mess just not because there's a lack of a players in a portal that hasn't officially opened yet.

Any people with insight into Kentucky’s OL? Wonder if they had any good ones.

If they have a pulse and are willing to earn their keep they’ll be better than what we have.

You realize there’s still something like 20 teams that are still playing and the portal isn’t even open yet?

Not that many that are highly regarded.

It’s fine, we only need like 10 OL.

Go look at the oline players that Kiffin has had.

None were top talent and he made it work and it worked pretty effectively.

That’s why you tamper and lure them out.

Why do you think elite players are hardly ever in the portal? You think these big power 4 teams are just going to let their star players walk? Look at what South Carolina did to keep Stewart and Harbor lol.

UK averaged 140 yds per game this season when we averaged 104.

not really a great comparison, they're YPC was essentially the same. UK is just a run-heavy team like you mentioned, and the strategy and style of offense is completely different

they were NOT great at running the ball in 2025, and really haven't been since Rodriguez was RB1 a few years ago

you are probably right about the higher profile players from the major programs

Doesn't mean the other 100+ schools don't have some elite level players that aren't as highly publicized due to the platform they're currently at

Mansoor Delane and AJ Haulsey come to mind

Highly regarded by who....247Sports? I admit the vast majority I know squat about. But I have watched the video and read the articles about Colton Joseph from Old Dominion. 247 has him rated a medium 3* and the 84th best player. To that I will just use an emoji.

Here is a better example of a PROVEN mistake. Chambliss from Ole Miss was the 60th rated QB...60th rated QB in the portal last time. Do you think at the time that you would have said "doesn't look real promising thus far"? Pretty obvious why you and I are posting on a fan forum and 247Sports has no one coaching a college football team huh?
