As said on every board around the country but the false hope claims people keep posting here.

You can't keep posting negativity just because you are upset that people are excited about RN. He states that he loves LSU and folks are taking his word for it. He says he is not a lock and that is all that matters.

He may very well go to Bama, but you are using 3 hand comments (I talked to Coach Conn) to say that contradicts what RN says. If he's tired of being called a lock, maybe he will pull the Harvey Williams and shock the world.
In any event, there is no harm in LSU fans being excited about the possibilty he signs here. As I've said, just having elite recruits like him from OOS come here for visits and praise the expirience is good PR for LSU.

Prom, you're acting foolish. I still think he picks bama, but the number one guy openly naming us his leader is good publicity. Others take notice.
Plus it's so GOOD news after two months of almost all Awful news.
BOL is reliable, and our side is still not sold we lead. We did make a huge impression and if it makes Saban have to actually fight a little harder for a guy that had "locked up" then it's a win in my book.

all everyone is saying is don't get too caught up in it. we see it every year, a prospect says LSU is #1 after a visit and then it never really materializes into anything. DJ Humphries from the 2012 recruiting cycle was the same as well.

I think that the excitement is that we are actually in it. It seemed like we weren't even going to have a shot and now we do. Long way until NSD 2013 and Bama looks like the place, but we definitely have a shot, hence the excitement. And third hand info isn't an update really....
