Wade has been a HC for 12 years. He has been good to really great each of those years, including leading Mcneese st to heights they had not ever been close to achieving. An NCAA win against CLEMSON included. He's also by far the best LSU coach in our history based on a coach's first 5 seasons which is all you can fairly compare him with.

If you don't think Wade has a plan.A, B, C and D, you're sadly mistaken.

There are still dozens of player left in the portal, including JJ Starling who was above average at syracluse under McMahon clone Adrian Autry. If Wade were to sign him, I'm sure he'll be a better player at LSU. There's also a good player from St John's available along with plenty of others.

If all of his signings fall through like your hoping, he'll still figure it out and get us to the tournament this year. Most likely bu signig 4-6 of the portal guys mentioned above. And if your paying attention to the 5 stars he has visiting campus in future classes, along with plenty of NIL cash and his recruiting prowess, the future is bright under Wade.

So keep on worrying and losing sleep because you claim to be so concerned about the lack of players on the roster. Wade's got this. And we'll be even better once he's here for the full portal cycle each year from here on out.

Oh, and I've been a Tiger since 1977, do you want a cookie? The difference between us is I don't blindly support an LSU coach just because he's here. Once he shows me he can't cut it, which McMahon did very early in his tenure he needs to go. There were very few if any signs of life in his program, and if it were up to you, he'd still be here getting his brains beat in twice a week.

There are at least a half a dozen players available RIGHT NOW in the portal that would allow LSU to still be a tournament team. JJ Starling can be an outstanding player with Wade developing him.

I'd be shocked if Wade didn't have these dudes on the back burner right now in case these current commitments don't get eligible like you're hoping.

Where do I get that thought from? Maybe your not so subtle "he only has 4 players" jabs you toss in constantly. Again, you're a fool if you don't think Wade has a contingency no matter where this thing goes.

I DO KNOW it's highly likely that he'll put a tournament team on the floor this year, and that it will only escalate from now on if you consider that he won't be jumping in last minute when the portal opens, the NIL he has available, and what he's ALWAYS DONE recruiting his entire career.

Another poster posted the list of portal players still available, and it's sizeable. Starling in particular would undoubtedly be much better under a real coach than he was at syracluse. I'm speculating on Starling being a back up plan for us. If all the foreigners, RJ and the UCLA dudes fall through like you're hoping, he can still sign 4-5 of these guys and have a tournament team.

Again, no one here is buying your fake concern about how you're just so worried about Wade piercing a team together because doggone it, it just looks so bleak right now. Let the man cook. We should be pretty good this year, and good to great in the years following.

I have no clue if Wade wanted any of the losers from the McMahon error. Possibly at $1.398 per hour, but it appears their agents suckered other schools into paying more.
