CC, is there any word on Weston Davis commitment? In another thread someone is saying he deleted on info regarding LSU and is now reposting Aggie stuff.

I looked at his IG and I saw he reposted a IG story of A&M Bisontis and another player from their game on Saturday was the last thing I saw.
Twitter still has the retweets of being committed to LSU by Dre'lon Miller.
My take is maybe he just doesn't mess with social media that much

I did hear he was actively recruiting. Im guessing calling recruits for sure.

don’t usually like to talk shite about kids but after going to 3 Acadiana games this season, there ain’t a damn thing about him that screams “5 star”.
His get off is slower than molasses, he picks and chooses when he wants to be dominant and I’ve seen kids the same size as Danny Devito move him off the line at times.

The transfer portal will serve lsu well if we cannot sign a good Dt. I guarantee a high level Dt will be in the portal

This is exactly what I thought. I have heard he is having a blah season. Then again I don't know because I haven't seen him play and can't make that call for myself.

There's always going to be a good DT to get in the portal, the question is can we land one. We missed on Fiske, got Jefferson which worked out. Depending on what happens after this season with Wingo and Smith we might need to land AT LEAST 2 higher level DTs from the portal which is a tough ask.

He wasn't retained was all. Lots of folks think that his relationship with JaCoby is why he hasn't left A&M.

Mason never wanted to leave LSU, he's an LSU grad. He was banned from Tigerdroppings, even though he was an outside the scenes help with the DE from New jersey who flipped from Florida and he and RedfieldK worked on Jamal Adams. He was the guy who recruited all the kids to Core 6 when that was a big thing, then teamed up with Jimmy Smith with the Bootleggers.

Our staff will continue to recruit him, bit like the Aggy poster mentioned, I think that has more to do with not wanting to burn a bridge with their family in hopes of recruiting his little brother, who has that aggression you'd like to see out of Dominic to go along with that size.
Apparently Darryus is a lot more interested in LSU than his older brother.
