Feelings from multiple sides are that if he does flip it would be to Texas

It honestly doesn't feel like we're pushing for him hard at all.

When Shea says things like "There is an open invitation to come back for any home game" and not "they're really trying to get him in for the Florida game", it's pretty telling.

I agree with that. They’re obviously interested in McKinley but it doesn’t seem like he’s our biggest priority and rightfully so.

Give me Reliford. McKinley won't amount to anything in college.

Texas is spending a shite ton of money. Rumor about Ryan Wingo are in the $2MM range.

Mizzou is not going to counter from what I understand.

I was hoping Mizzou at least drove the price up enough to affect other guys they're after but it doesn't appear to be the case.

Seems stupid high for a WR but if you're Texas and have the money then why not.

I agree. And the St Louis metro area produces high level college WRs at a rate just below Louisiana to be honest.

Mizzou is right to cut & run on Wingo and use that money elsewhere.

It's weird to me that Texas feels the need to pay so much for an out of state WR when they're the flagship of one of the most talent-rich states in the country.

I’ve always wanted McKinley in this class, but it sounds like he isn’t having an elite Sr. season that warrants a bidding war.

He’s definitely still a take IMO.

I'm okay with it. Texas doesn't concern me long term. Sark won't sustain success. He will fall off the rails shortly

For a program like Texas or Florida, focusing so heavily out of state is never an indicator of future success.

Maybe with the exception of Urban Meyer, who still built most of his florida teams on in state guys.

Yeah been seeing the rumor fly on X for a week. I really believe the staff is working Melvin Hill to flip from short horns.

I wish there was more information about how Coach Lindsey is doing.

We can find better DT talent somewhere else rather than continue to straddle along with a McKinley.

I don’t usually like to talk shite about kids but after going to 3 Acadiana games this season, there ain’t a damn thing about him that screams “5 star”.

His get off is slower than molasses, he picks and chooses when he wants to be dominant and I’ve seen kids the same size as Danny Devito move him off the line at times.

He’s not worth the time that’s being wasted on him, especially if he doesn’t want to be here

Probably an accurate assessment.

I have seen them both play. They are soft kids that do not like the weight room. I watched John Curtis OL push them around 2 years in a row. Really hope they go to TexAgs or Texas
