You think Cooks is going to stay on staff?

First, Clean deserves a nod here. I found the game down on Bally Sports down here in SW FL and watching it and Bussey opened my eyes.

Second, this kid will be special, hopefully in P & G. Ran a 10.66 100 as a sophomore, and ran a laser 4.42 40.

Third, nobody may care but I saw a good kid (as well as his teammates) who is well-coached and seems likable and a good team guy. CBK has to like those traits. No prima donna.

Fourth, he's a survivor. Lost his sister when he was 14, and his mom more recently

Bussey is awesome on offense and isn't afraid to lower-the-boom on defense. From what I see, he's got that dog in him.

And they have a soph that's going to be big-time soon. This may start another pipeline similar to Dville

Ok I never said he wasn't good. Also I wouldn't compare Timpson and Dville on pipeline level talk. Yes, Timpson look to have some solid players on the team can't deny that but Dville been putting out multiple 5 and 4 stars every year for awhile.

Bussey remains committed to Texas A&M, but some out-of-state schools are pushing to flip him. LSU safeties coach Kerry Cooks was in attendance to witness his remarkable game and a couple of others are still in the hunt.

"They (LSU) will be a part of my recruitment, but I feel like there are a couple of other guys that will step in later on here and make a push, but it was really a blessing seeing them here," Bussey said.

"Bama, SC (USC), and a couple of others. I feel like I am a priority to them." "There will be a lot of schools that I go out and visit since this is over now. I can focus on my next step and the next part of my journey."

On Texas A&M, Bussey has been getting to know the new staff and building relationships in College Station. "Getting to know the new staff has been great," Bussey explained. "Just building a relationship with Coach (Mike) Elko and just trying to build on the relationship I already have with those guys." "They are great guys, great people, and they know a lot about football and are great football-minded people." "I plan to be back out there, but I don't know when."

At the end of the day, Bussey is just trying to make the right decision for his future. "Just weighing everything," Bussey began. "The future, me, ball, everything really. Just trying to make the best decision for me."

This pretty much says he isn't coming here.

Yea I’ve seen this play out so many times. Bama makes a late push on a player everyone wants and all of a sudden they commit to Bama.

For an athlete wanting to play safety, cb or any defensive position for that matter, I can’t find a better, higher profile situation for a young player than LSU. Our coaching staff must be just truly unimpressive.

Damn, that's a borderline insult.

"Cute little LSU trying to recruit me, what a blessing. But I'm going somewhere else".

Damn that's brutal. Doesn't sound like LSU is in it at all.
