He’s a very talented kid and would love to see him in purple and gold, I just don’t see the five star number 1 athlete in the country when I watch him play. I don’t see super athletic Derek Stingley two way type skill set, Kendrick Law explosion and agility. The number one athlete in the country shouldn’t have to take an angle to get in the end zone on a 90 yard breakaway touchdown run in 2a football. He’s a good prospect but a can’t miss, make or break a signing class football player I’m struggling to see it.

Then you obviously suck at evaluating talent. The kid is a freak athlete. I’ve seen him many times in person up close in football, basketball, baseball, and track.
He’s special, an elite athlete. That 93 yard TD he had, he never came close to top speed, he jogged most of it, he’s as fast as he wants to be.

He juked the whole defense and cut back in on a safety that was 20 yards downfield in front of him and out ran him with ease. His ability to cut without losing speed and how easy he makes it look are why he’s the top athlete in the country lol

What the difference in him and Ju’Juan Johnson from LCA? And I’m not a hater and love watching the kid and pull for Timpson, got a lot of friends from that area I just think, personally it’s a little over blown and it’s going to take him 2 or three years to see the field in the sec.

I haven't watched JuJu only highlights and this my 1st time watching him Bussey play. Just off this championship game he is all over the field on defense hitting and came over to help CB an went up got it. He just scored his 2nd rushing touchdown. So off the hightlights for JuJu and watching him offensive on tv they pretty much the same. On defense he is in on alot of tackles aggressive.

Haven’t seen JuJu play in person but I think he’s underrated based on his film. Bussey is a bit more explosive from what I can tell and he’s a ball hawk on defense as well

LCA had one of the toughest schedules in the state he had wins over 5A powerhouses and only losses to 4a and 5A state champions by a combined 7 points in the regular season. The competition level isn’t even remotely comparable or close so you don’t really have the two way comparison on both sides of the ball but I think athletically they are extremely close and project similarly from what I’ve seen. Again he’s awesome but more of a top ten athlete, mid four star from what I’ve seen.

Yeah I can definitely tell the competition level for both is different. This team is small he playing before the game other team school enrollment was 241 something like that students. Lol

Yeah different levels for sure.

Timpson beat larger enrollment schools as well. It’s different in Texas though. Schools don’t play up more than a couple of divisions/classes.

I'm here in DFW daughter is attending Colleyville Heritage. They not facing 5A and 6A schools can't tell me other wise they would get throttled. Looking at the school Timpson faced in Championship reminded me of Lasalle Parish High School football. I understand he plays for 2A but he not facing no 5A or 6A talent. He is a good player not knocking him at all.

Are you Kendrick Law’s dad? Law is not in the same league as this kid. Bussey reminds me a little of Jefferson with the ball in his hands.

This kid dominated pretty much every camp he’s gone to against elite athletes. Even amongst other 4 star and 5 stars he stands out.

No, but going through some of the past few signings classes at athlete in top 5 of each class and guys that jump off tape or I’ve seen in person and I see a sizable difference in Isaiah Bond, Kendrick Law, Rocket Sanders as far as top end speed, explosion and agility when compared to Bussey. Nyck Harbor from South Carolina was running a 10.28 100m at 6-5 240 lbs. I don’t see Harold Perkings from a physicality standpoint watching him. These are the top ranked athletes of past few classes depending on where you look and they have all seen the field a good bit. We will see who’s right. I think there’s going to be a huge adjustment and learning curve to see the field in the sec.

I didn't say he was bad at all. The competition at the Championship game was like Georgia playing TCU. Again he isn't playing the 5A and 6A teams not a knock only playing what's in front of him.

Yeah He is good but I don't know how the other team made it to state championship. Lol

Cooks was on sideline and one of the Aggie coaches. Also he had Aggie sticker on back of helmet. He had on aggie gloves during warm up and switched to LSU gloves during the game. You can see in the stiff arm image.

I hope LSU lands him don't get me wrong.
