Will someone tell Lane to stop with this. Wombever is advising him needs to be stripped of command. Get aholt of Glasscock.
Half the fkn deal here is the fkn food.
Not some new money st george version of an overpriced Vegas steakhouse. $5k tab using us to leverage a deal at TTU/Oregon.
Dont have to go full Orgeron but lawd don’t be dumb.

Any restaurant here pre-Katrina would do. And a select few after.

Ok no knock on the restaurant itself. My wife’s niece just got divorced and she goes all the time for drinks and whatknot.
I think it’s probably got good food. I just here you can’t hear yourself talk in there so probably not good for serious conversation.

It’s pretty tacky IMO.
Plenty of better options.
There are about 100 places with better food, and if they’re going for classy… Beausoleil, Sullivan’s, Gino’s, Lagniappe, and others have it down without the faux air.
Anyway, I still think Texas de Brazil is the most fun.

Get some N.O. people in there to cook some real food.

Best food and chefs come from SW Louisiana. NOLA chefs ain’t originally from NOLA. Gotta cross the Atchafalaya for that authentic flavor. NOLA food is the commercialized version of the real thing

Wow, that’s stupid.
SW Louisiana is Cajun cuisine. Cajun cuisine is rustic, good food.
New Orleans is Creole cuisine. You can find a Cajun meal in New Orleans, but New Orleans cuisine is Creole. Creole is fine dining.
They are world’s apart, even if they use some of the same ingredients.

Supper Club is normally closed on Mondays. So this was a special occasion where they opened the restaurant just for this visit. There shouldn’t be anywhere near the usual noise tonight since they have the place all to themselves

Good to know.
Arguing over south Louisiana food is the beauty of it all. Don’t have to take them Cajun dancing or shove Emril down their throat but dropping them into a steakclub? Not to mention we are 0fer doing it.
And back to back nights? I always tell my grandson not to be seen in the same place twice in the same week with different women.
Little different there. He isn’t trying to give them 6 million dollers.

Not being able to hear yourself talk seems to go against the vibe of an upper-scale steak house, but even Ruth’s Chris is a bit loud at times, at least in the bar area.

You truly think Supper Club is the deciding factor in all of this? Sorsby was never coming.
