LSU needs to pull the offer to him and his brother. He's just playing games with LSU, trying to make O and his recruiting staff look like a bunch of fools. Pull the offers and offer to a couple other Dlinemen that are more mature. This kid is trolling LSU at this point, he has no intention of going to LSU. O needs to set the record straight with recruits, it's an HONOR to be offered a scholarship to LSU, not an entitlement. He wants to roll with the tide, let him know you don't beg, it's LSU, and LSU means something. I'm so sick of these kids who feel like they can dangle LSU's staff on strings and play games with them. Cut ties and go elsewhere. Let these prima-donnas know LSU can get talent anywhere. He's doing the same shite Collins and his brother did, the same shite Herman did, same crap some of these other big name recruits from Louisiana have done, just playing games with LSU. There's too many good football players in La. for LSU to feel the need to beg some kid to sign. 'em! This is LSU, we gonna get great players! This recruiting class so far is loaded with players who will be great in the P and G and they LOVE LSU!!! Ask Kardell, he will tell you, "we comin' and we ain't backin' down!!!!"

We not gonna get 10 5 stars like little nicky pulls every year. Just stop getting butt hurt over it and life will be okay. BUT I'd take a 4 star with a 5 star heart, fight and want (clm ha) every damn day of the week and twice on Sunday. And when we beat them it makes it feel so much better!!!

I'm not saying he's not going to Alabama, but this tweet was likely in response to that arse clown T Bob tweeting that if Sopsher goes to Alabama we should annex Amite.

First of all, epic troll by Sopsher.

Second, if he does choose to go to Bama and be another guy there, the positive is that it opens two spots for us.

Also, if he does go to Bama, what happens to his brother?

I think you mis-understood something, I am not "butt hurt" over the player going elsewhere. I don't care about star ratings, that's the point I was making. When some 5 star player is obviously trolling LSU and stringing them along like Collins and his brother and Surtain (well, I don't think Surtain did actually, he just got starry-eyed at the end, IMO) I'd rather LSU cut bait and start recruiting some lower rated players that, like you mentioned, have heart, have that will to win, the hate to lose, guys that bring intensity to the team. I mean, evaluation is more important and integral to success on the field than star gazing. And from what I've seen I believe O and staff have done a very good job of evaluating talent. It pisses me off when anyone thinks their position is more important than the institution. Herman's antics a couple years ago was blatant disrespect for LSU. There was a player years ago and he wasn't highly recruited at the time, and I forget his name, but Saban offered him a scholarship to LSU. The player tells Saban he is still considering other schools and wanted to wait until he say what Tulane was offering. Sabans response was, "if you are considering Tulane over LSU, you might as well go ahead and go to Tulane." I understand Sopsher is much different and his situation, I'm just saying LSU's coaches don't need to waste time on players that are obviously not going to LSU and focus on players that may want to be at LSU.

This is why beating Bama is going to be crucial.

Tell that to Landon Collins. LSU had beaten Alabama two months prior, yet he committed to Alabama just days prior to that undeserving rematch. But that wasn't enough. Saban had him do it on national television, which ESPN took upon themselves to replay over and over. And even though LSU had won the season match vs Alabama and was 13-0 at the time, Collins gave as his reason that he wanted to join a winner (or something along those lines). That opened up the floodgates for Louisiana prospects headed to Alabama. I'm sure Collins wasn't the first, but he was certainly the first in the absurd outflux that we've suffered through for the past 7 years.
