We need lineMEN

I’d expect Berry to follow Frank. Lacy follows Kevin. Caden loves LSU

.Berry also sees the LOS better and where to try to run. Durham is more powerful when hit high but gets ankle tackled way, way too much. That is probably why he has so many foot/toe issues. Durham is a better blocker which is why I mentioned carrying the ball for the comparison..
How did Durham have more:
Yards per carry
Yards after contact
more explosive plays
?

Either this shows that you DID NOT watch any LSU football this year, or you have 0 football knowledge.
What do you disagree with, specifically?

You keep saying that. If i didn't like Berry, I would not be afraid to just say it lol. There is no data to support that Berry was better. I guess the stats hate Berry too huh?
The advantage of Berry paired with Lacy is the different skillset he brings that would add some contrast. Sloan didn’t do a good job of taking advantage of Berry’s pass-catching skills and I’m very sure Lane wouldn’t have that issue at all. He would turn that into a weapon. I could also see him using both in the backfield together for that purpose to put stress on the LBs and Safeties.

That has nothing to do with Durham. But yes, Berry is just a gadget back. He should be used like Percy Harvin

Man I don’t know, Berry has leg drive between the tackles after contact.

In a recent light, Berry should be used like Toney from Miami.

Might have something to do with Berry being a TR FR and Durham being a TR SO. Nah, it couldn't be experience and not a talent could it? I will also mention that Berry had better YPC in 2 games and Durham in 4 games. BTW, I didn't count when Berry only carried 1 or 2 times. Sounds like you don't know much about football if you TRY to compare a newbie player with a guy who has been there an extra year. That is why many analysts use the phrase about teams or players "eye test". Berry using the eye test is a better RUNNING back than Durham. Once again, not taking blocking into accountr.

Look, the analytics is what coaches look at. The eye test went the ways of the dinosaur with Curly Hallman.

Berry isn't going to follow Frank Wilson....regardless of how much you want him to. You are living in college football world about 10 years ago. The biggest factor in "following" is $$$$, not a particular coach.

Actually, the eye test had NOT gone the way of the dinosaur. It is mentioned quite often when teams are being rated by analysts. Perhaps, you don't watch much football. What HAS dropped off big time is the use of analytics. Proof of that is Lane Kiffin himself. If you have watched any of his games this season, they continue to point out how Kiffin doesn't take nearly as many chances on 4th downs. Analytics haven't changed but their use has...it was dropped big time in its use.

Anybody else not interested in getting Chambliss? Idk maybe I’m old fashioned but I just am not on board with the transferring of a QB along with his coach to my team. Just feels wrong.
Burrow and Daniels were obviously way different. Guess I’m just not privy to the “new landscape” of NIL and transfer portal. It is what it is, not gonna lie I’ll root him on if he’s here but I miss the game I grew up on…. I know TLDR, cry me a river etc etc.

I will never understand this.
Lane is the one who gave him the opportunity. He himself is already a transfer.
LSU's best QBs lately have been transfers. So what if they come with the guy who also gave them the opportunity.

soon as lane got hired this fanbase decided it was over for him in hopes we get lacy. id rather our 2 guys and a bruiser in the portal. lacy is a great player but tbh i dont want him or chambliss. chambliss could come here and have a career year and still wont be drafted earlier than the 4th rd maybe. Go get a guy with some rockstar upside
