Bech is not huge

Not huge for a TE but he is huge for a WR. No DB wants to tackle him when he gets going

Ideal situation is Bech goes to New England if BB is still the head coach.

Beyond stupid. Why because they have a history of white receivers? Are you always this stupid or just on this board?

I remember one or two here saying he was going to be top notch as WR- just wait and see. Can't remember who.

I was one of them. Said he reminded me of Ed McCaffrey.

I saw Bech play in high school after hearing Clean and a couple others on here sing his praises and came away thinking the same thing. That he was going to be a star wherever he ended up. Glad we ended up with him.

Anybody that saw him play in person in high school since 11th grade would know he was severely underrated by recruiting sites.

His physicality in high school was on a different level compared to most highly rated high school WRs.

Didn't mean that as a slight to you

You nailed it

I still don't understand why he was so underrated for the longest time

Kid is a heck of a player, did plenty enough in HS, the recruiting sites favor the measureables too much, 6'3", 4.4, etc. Sometimes a guy is just good at what he does. He's a mismatch every time he's covered by a LB or safety. As much heat as the OC takes, I like what he does with Bech on the RPO's, it puts him in space to make receptions, and can eventually open the run game more.

Bech seems much more physical than Easy Ed. Reminds me of Anquan Boldin.
