Who are the other DL that Bama is pursuing? You know, the guys that would get left out if Bama gets Sopsher but will take if they don't? We should be putting the full court press on those guys saying "the space is yours if you sign early".

If that is truly the case, look for Saban to convince the brother to take a greyshirt or something similar if that even exists anymore (can't keep up with rules changes).

Any real fan wants this recruit to commit to LSU and if his brother has to be part of the deal, then so be it.
Unfortunately, long time LSU fans and followers of this board have seen these battles play out before. LSU has won and lost their share. Normally, the ones LSU loses have a certain feel to them where LSU gets strung out. This players recruitment has that feel, but I don’t begrudge the staff one bit for grinding hard on the recruitment of this player.
Hopefully, it works out for LSU, but you can’t blame folks for being somewhat skeptical when you look at the recruits visitation log.

You are spot on. I don't think we're being negative here. We're being honest. We've seen this movie many times before and we know how it ends.
We want this one to end differently, with the local kid picking LSU, but typically, when a Louisiana kid's recruitment goes like this, it seems like they choose Alabama.
We know the staff has worked their tails off to get this kid. And we hope we get it.
But, and I hope I am wrong, I think the writing is on the wall.
