Yeah I think BK just wants to hit the portal hardest to get who he wants in. Problem right now is we haven't really heard much momentum on a bunch of portal guys going to LSU. It needs to pick up soon hopefully. Maybe it will after OC/DC hires fall in place. Denbrock is not worth waiting on, they need to look elsewhere if that's his choice.

That had more to do with his staff though. He isn't a great recruiter. He's okay but he tends to make great hires around him to help with recruiting.

We need to start spending more money on recruiting period. Our budget compared to the rest of the SEC and in light of our program's success is a joke.

He’s has top 10 top 5 classes before his last staff was in place.

Have you looked at his staffs over the years? I have. His staff is always full of great recruiters. I don't give a shite how he gets top 5 classes as long as he gets them. Doesn't change the fact of whether he's a great recruiter or not. It's not 1 jilted fan either, seems that was the common complaint among ND fans. Has to surround himself with great recruiters but on the other side to that, he's an excellent developer of talent. So yeah, it really doesn't matter how he gets the classes if he gets them here. You can back this up with who he put in the NFL so jury is still out on if they're right about his recruiting.

Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean- BUCS (both started the super bowl last year)
Noah Igbinoghene- Dolphins
And Roger McCreary was a 1st team All American this year and by all accounts is a first round draft pick.
