Rachel Baumann is going to Florida for her fifth year. Strong competitor on vault, beam and floor. The rich get richer.

I think that is a terrible decision on her part if she actually wants to compete but what do I know.

All I’ll say if is if they can’t win next year then Jenny surely doesn’t have it. I think probably the only place Baumann makes it is beam (and maybe floor) - though Florida is already stacked on those…so who even knows

I think she’ll make floor and vault. She has. 1.5 on vault and got a 10 on floor last year. They’re losing 1-2 vaults and 2 floors and I don’t see Riley or Morgan taking those spots.

Eh, I wouldn't count them out. They definitely have the skill, just a question of how quick are they recovering from injury. Riley could definitely do a simple two pass routine with lots of leaps that would score well.

I saw on Social Media that several gymnasts have scratched from the US Classic. Ella Kate Parker(Louisiana girl) who trained with Mary Lee Tracey has changed gyms according to her IG .

Konnor and Ella Kate are two that scratched and some of the Pan Am Team as well.

Yes, it is on her IG post in the link I posted. I'm not sure if she is training with Konnor's coach or Skye's. Of course there is speculation on social media as to why she left MLT. At least she will be a little closer to home than she was in Ohio.

Ella Kate is an LSU target, right? To be honest, with CGA's injury history, I'm happy for the move.

On another note, Bryce Wilson is identified by College Gym News as one of the most anticipated Level 10 freshmen: LINK /

I believe MLT was retiring if not just did recently.

Recruiting is slow until football season where recruits come in but here is the latest:

-The coaches recently went up to Utah to see Neff

-Zeiss is supposed to visit LSU this fall

-Kelsey Slade out of AZ is also supposed to visit at some point (no official date yet)

Incoming freshman Ashley Cowan is currently training a Nabieva on bars. Not sure for how long but if she cleans it up it would be a HUGE WOW factor in the PMAC during our bar rotation.

Cowan is exceptional on bars. I fully expect her to be in the bars lineup by post season next year. So much raw talent but she excels especially on bars

The Nabieva is super cool but I hope she doesn't do it. Imo the risk vs reward is not worth it. Her L10 routine would score super well in NCAA, with the dismount downgraded to a double layout (again, minimise deductions): L10 routine

I’m pretty sure she was playing around when she filmed it. She will do a much simpler release for her routine

This was just for show. No way she does it as part of her set. The risk of deduction far outweigh the benefits. No D score in NCAA

Agree with everyone. No way she does a Nabieva in her actual routine - but it makes me excited for the height in her Ray (haven’t watched her routine but assume that is her normal release)

Ugh can we please do some other dismount than the layout.

Doesn't she add a twist to the layout? It would be better than the common layout.
