This is a board of grown men getting excited over 15-17 year old boys. Everything about it is creepy.

Not saying I disagree because I don't know, but where does this come from? I see this said a lot. Are y'all just going by his measurables?

The only video out there is him playing QB. I've never seen him play CB. I'd like to see that. Did he do other camps outside of LSU where he showed off his ability? If he is underrated, I would assume it's for this reason...not much to go off of.

And obviously Raymond knows what he's doing.

For me, a combination of everything — measurables, length and what he was able to do in MHSAA North 6A football

Throw in the fact that LSU and Corey Raymond’s selling is to come be a lockdown corner.

With that kind of frame and athleticism, you don’t ask too many questions. He could play WR, KR/PR, CB, QB, or safety, one would think.

He’ll weigh 205 easily if they want him to

not sure if they played any corner in high school, but Mo Claiborne and Shaq White played qb in Shreveport and ended up 2 of our best corners ever

I think three is a max that they’d take.

Normally I’d agree, but they took zero last year, so I’m hoping for four this year.

Gotta hope Raymond puts in his best work on this one, and reels this kid in to where he can be developed into a first-day draft pick.

Kid has incredible natural ability, and his speed is not entirely too far behind where Donte Jackson was at this point in his recruitment. That's some real, blazing speed for his size if that confirmed 4.41 is legit.

Would be a developmental guy for likely just a redshirt year if his fundamentals aren't quite there yet... but CCR turns kids like this into Thorpe finalists every year. Could see significant PT his RSFr year.

Yep he's likely going to need a year of development but depending on him, he could start or help in the middle or for sure by the time the bowl game comes around.

One thing is certain, LSU will have some studs to work with a finally some depth to work with at QB, WR, LB, RB, DL, OL, DB and even TE. This team next year could be very very good. You add that bama type schedule and we could easily make a playoff or Sugar bowl.

I don't see A&M being all that much better. Auburn either. State? Nope. Ole Miss nah. Florida might be the only one that gets a little better but not much. Then of course Bama. Texas will be a good match up too.

I mean this seems pretty like a common transition nowadays from HS option/running QB to CB. HS’s put their best player at QB.

Well my comment is contingent on those DLman staying of course. They leave and we in serious trouble there unless we pull a miracle in the offseason with gradtransfers and get some JUCOs that surprise.

I don't think they can leave if they serious about being drafted early or at all in some cases. The depth comment is also contingent on if we sign some top freshman DLman in this class also. I think we will. We almost have to. Ferrell and Logan have progressed quite a bit and I believe that they now have a taste of what it takes in the offseason to play well during the season. Same goes for the younger guys like Livingston, Cotton, Shelvin, Thomas, and Jenkins. We add some DLman in this class, keep the starters from this season and they all work their butts off this offseason bc of the season they just had and we should see a change in 2019.

Coach O, Aranda and the rest of this staff, including the S&C coaches have to change what they doing with this DL and the DL has to take ownership this offseason to be a force next year. They have to work like they've never worked before. Push and pull cars, take on double and triple teams at practice, drag tires around the field. Strap sand weights to those limbs while running and practicing. Practice in sand and mud. They need to be ready for war once the season comes around. The same goes for the OL.

This staff and these coaches have to change up what they're doing in the offseason with the LOS. Those guys need to be tough as nails and strong AF, while also being in the best shape they can be.

Bear in mind we recruited him to play a position that he has not played much or at all. His major experience is as a QB.
He has great physical stats and hopefully makes the transition to CB
