Maybe let these kids do what they want and go where they'll be happy? This is America last I checked.
I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is stringing a team along for all this time and then pull a whammy on NSD? Unless he told the coaches already, then frick him!

This sucks
At the same time at one point we were a shitty program doing everything we could to sell kids on buying in a building something in their home state.
Still woof
He’s a good WR, the ACC is week. He will have a decent career but Maryland ain’t winning anything. Not even 6 games every year
But also frick him for waiting this long

Wish we played them next year. Stingley would make him humble

Either way, he will be out of sight, out of mind.
Yep. Nobody will hear his name again until he gets drafted in three years (if he doesn't turn out to be a bust). He is now completely irrelevant.

help be apart of turning that program around.
Turning it around to what end? They will never compete in their conference or on the national level

I just don’t get why this kid is trolling LSU of all teams. Not in any way your rival, and nobody can ever blame a kid for staying home.
This is a weird one.

So.... I was optimistic about today (again) and so far results are mixed.
Who takes Rakim’s spot?
Really hoping Webb and Burch pick the good guys or it’s a net - ESD.

You people are legit crazy trashing a kid for wanting to stay closer to home.
I’m glad my kid will never be good enough to have to deal with people like most of you.

It’s not ok what he did. Leading a school on until signing day is fricked up. They trusted and believed in you. Gave you an opportunity and you flipped the bird to them.

On the plus side this at least opens up a spot for someone else. Wonder to whom that spot will go

It’s not what he did it’s how he did it

It’s relatively easy to negative recruit LSU about playing time for a WR. He stayed home. Good luck to him.
Has he gone to Bama or somewhere other than home I’d say good luck to him and F him.

good luck to the young man, doubt we'll ever play against him in his career.

Nobody is mad at the kid for wanting to stay close to home. They're mad at him for stringing LSU along when he clearly had no intention to remain committed. It was just a big game for him.
The joke is on him, though. He's the one who has to tell people he's a 5-star who plays for a dumpster fire named Maryland. That's like saying you're the valedictorian of River Parishes CC.
