The fact that he said Locksley sold him on branding himself more so than he even does in high school. That’s a direct quote from this cat. He chose Maryland to brand himself and because LSU backed off Clowney? Yikes.

My guess is both of them will fade off into college football obscurity.

LSU is better off without this kid it seems.

Yea, he’s obviously a pretty self centered kid who lacks mental toughness as well as evidenced by his inability to simply be honest with the coaches.

Hope someone tweets him the new rankings when they come out. Boutte will be ranked higher than him and Burton lol

Clowney's teammate Toles still signed.

You're spending too much time thinking about Rakim Jarrett

How about attending college and representing your team?

This quote from the OP’s article sums up this dude

quote:

“[The biggest impact] was moreso Coach Locks and the plan he presented,” Jarrett told Testudo Times. “How you’re going to develop me as a player and as a person and use my face to kind of brand myself even more than what I kind of do now in high school

All about him.

Evans should join in him in Terp land. Doesn’t have drama written all over it at all.

Meh. He’s just talking more shite. First it was business. Then he couldn’t trust the coaches. Then he talked about building his own brand instead of someone else’s. Then he makes a comment about Clowney. He’s got all kinds of excuses.

At the end of the day, he was playing games at the end, the staff called him on it and he didn’t like it. Oh well.

Kid is a headache. Glad he didn’t sign here. I don’t think he would fit in the “one team, one heartbeat” mantra

This situation sort of fits into the “glad you didn’t marry the crazy ex-girlfriend” mold.

Good on him... now he doesn't have to worry about transferring when he's not the only talent on the field and isn't a first-year starter. He is better off and so is the TEAM.

The amount of talking he's doing is reaching Antonio Brown level. Dude needs to shut up and move on with his life.

Wasn't Clowney reportedly unresponsive to LSU for time while he was still committed? Someone posted he wasn't returning any calls.

Except this guy hasn’t even taken a snap in college. He’s a first class attention whore. We look for one team one heartbeat players anyway.

He is so full of himself. Him talking about LSU every day sounds like he is questioning his decision to sign with the Terps and with every statement, he makes it sound like he made a prudent choice to sign with them. In any way, we have a talented core of receivers. Cam Akers and the DT who signed with him to FSU from Northshore did not come to LSU but that is not going to stop us from being an elite program that we are.

What a drama queen and no, I did not click and give this spoiled brat more attention. He will fade away in obscurity.

The rest of the article talks about him being sold on being the hometown savior and the foundation of the program.
Basically like us pitching Kevin Faulk.
