Seems Brandon Harris is a definite 2 headed horse race between LSU and AU.

I personally would be fine without taking a qb in this class.. How do you feel? / does Harris sign with LSU?

Stephen Collier 247

I think so. Such a long way between now and signing day. Even he doesn't pick us initially I think he will after we have a better year than AU this season and he sees how special our class will be. He'd be stupid not to come to LSU

While I understand what you are saying, try not to call a recruit "stupid" for choosing one school over another. Football isn't always the main reason a recruit chooses a university.

Absolutely agree. A kid can make any decision he wants if regards to choosing the school he wants to attend. If he picks a different school from the one you wanted to see him go to, there's no reason to call them "stupid".

1. I think LSU should sign a QB in this class
2. I think Harris will be the one.
3. If not Harris, there may be other options out there, both nationally and maybe even in state.

Harris is coming to LSU. He loved Alabama and Ohio state, but his family is LSU and he loves Cam

ETA: Cam Cameron

Stupid?
A talented, versatile HS QB recruit choosing between Gus Malzahn and Les Miles....
Hmmm

No, they aren't.

Battle between LSU and Auburn should be interesting. He also loves Cam Newton.

We have Jennings and retting were good for right now and also rivers. We are dandy for this class if we don't take a qb. Don't freak out if Harris doesn't choose LSU!

Always sign a qb in every class. Period.

Even if he's not an amazing recruit. Qb depth is critical. We've seen what happens when we don't have qb's in reserve.

What is the deciding factor of him choosing his school?

Since LSU signed 2 quality ones last cycle, I think yall would be fine without one if Harris chooses Auburn. I'm sure Rettig will be RS'd anyways

I wonder why they were never interested in Kizer. You can't even compare Kizer and Collier's offer lists.

I will be fine if Harris signs with LSU and I will be fine if he chooses not to do so.

We signed two great QBs last year and at least one of them will be redshirted. A QB in this upcoming class is a pure luxury, not a necessity.

Still better to take one in each class. You never know what can happen with attrition, whether it be transfers, disciplinary reasons, or otherwise.

Well, ideally, it would be best if we signed one and then redshirted him. I'm fine either way, though, because this is going to be a very deep class for us

I use to think yeah we are good don't need a qb in this class. But the past 6 years made me realize you ALWAYS need a qb.
