Just means you will lose 1 or 2 guys. I'm fine with it staff decision but Im down for getting the best players.

Our issues this year were mainly scheme oriented. House liked to play off the ball, read and react, and get minimal pressure on QB.
Defensive ends like Princely played in a much more aggressive style D where they would attack the ball. Numbers will always be more.
House scheme, lack of game planning,and refusing to make 2nd half adjustments the 3 biggest reasons for this years D collapse.
Last year it was average. I expected to take a step forward and build but we took 5 steps back. This may not be a popular opinion with Mrs. House and the bots, but he needed to be fired immediately after A&M game at the latest. After Bama game would have been ideal and sent a clear message that LSU will not tolerate this standard of defense.

He said a lot of nice things about Maason too.
You absolutely take a guy with 7 sacks. Our DLine was horrendous. shite, you probably take as many DLine as possible and let them all compete for a job again.

We need a guy to play DE and set an edge. I think our rush defense on 3rd down will be good. If this guy can play opposite of Howard, Swinson, Womack then hell yeah we take him.
Someone to compete with Shand and Jones. Maybe Jones could lose a bit of bad weight in the offseason and Wiggins could work on his playing weight. We need another dominant DT or two and then also work on the playing weights of the guys we have.
If we get another DC then I hope he’s an aggressive style defense. Make some splash hires who can recruit and coach these guys the entire year and I think we can improve this defense big time. It’s definitely time to go to work on this defense. All in!!! LSU is a defensive school man. Gotta get people in here who can capitalize on that.

After watching way too much of our defense this season, we aren't "good" at any position.
