There’s a ton of freshman talent at QB. Who stays put and who leaves is the real question. Cal, BYU and Pitt all have really good true freshman QB. The BYU QB is a legacy I believe and probably won’t go anywhere.

I think Lane prefers dual threats that don't mind getting dirty so that narrows it down a little.

True, but I’ve admittedly not watched enough of the Cal QB and Pitt QB to say if they have any mobility issues. BYU QB certainly fits the mold. Not a twitchy guy but runs people over.

I think the CAL QB can move in the pocket but he hardly ever runs.

Watched him last night and he got bailed out on a lot of throws, but you can see he has talent. I doubt he would be the guy we would target, but someone will probably pay for him.

There’s no “rest of the season” to forego for Sellers. Where are you seeing where he said he was hitting the portal?

He’s got a waiver request in with ncaa for another year of eligibility. Maybe you should do the research smart arse.

Their strength of schedule is a laughable #104. Even Van Buren would look like an all-star with that schedule. LSU's this year was #9 most difficult.

Sam Leavitt should be on the list.

The Green kid from AR is interesting. He has good skills, but seems to choke at critical times. If a coach can help with that, he could be a stud. Big if, though.

So, he's playing UNT-level competition with...UNT talent himself. It's not like he's been QB'ing Ohio State.
He still has shown consistent ability to complete passes in tight coverage windows and throws sn accurate deep ball. He has elite arm talent and processing ability.

In the games I’ve watched Green, he seems like he’s really incapable of throwing… like it would take him completely revamping his mechanics to fix him. With him already being 23 years old, I just don’t see the actual potential in him other than just being a really good runner.

Edit: he’s already played 4 years after redshirting. He’s not a possibility anyway.

If Chambliss gets granted another year of eligibility, you take him over anyone

Watch them both stand in the pocket and deliver the football - it isn't close.

Plus we just watched Van Buren put up 13 offensive points vs a mediocre G5 defense. Mestemaker and UNT have been putting up 40+ against that level of comp all year.

I’m almost certain they’re going to make a run at Leavitt and will probably get him
