I like that’s he’s proud of his state and humble enough to realize what’s its taken To get to this point. Sky’s the limit for this kid. He’s easy to rally around and follow.

Someone correct me, but I believe was that Eddie Kennison, Justin Vincent, and Kevin Faulk all extolling the greatness of Tiger Stadium to Pop, right?
I love that Lane is embracing the LSU alumnus. And not just inviting them for carte blanche use of the gym/lockerroom or sideline access for games, etc...but also involving them with official visit recruiting. I had heard a lot about how Pop's visit went, but I somehow missed hearing about former players interacting with him.
And even though they were preaching to the choir with a kid already committed, I wonder what former players were called out of the woodworks to help recruit Royal and Brewster.(???)

Evangel runs an extremely gimmicky offense mostly made up of inside, outside bubble screens that go for a lot of yards. I’ve seen him play ; very good athlete but like someone else we heard was the greatest qb ever; I don’t believe it. Hope I’m wrong.

You probably are. I think Lane knows what he’s looking for in a QB. I’ll defer to his judgement.

Always one in the bunch. I guess his accuracy, arm strength, and leadership in the Elite 11 was gimicky also.

I hope Peyton Houston pans out just as I want every recruit to pan out.
Having said that, if LSU isn't trying to sign the best portal QB every year, then I will be upset.
