Don't get me wrong I am not saying he's the next Drew Drees just that Pop's height may not matter. However he seems to be a dynamic QB. Hurley could be a diamond in the rough. If none work out there is the portal that gas been very kind to LSU with QB's.

Same was said about Walker Howard with Arch and Eli.

Is he 6’ now.
A few days ago I posted pictures of him standing next to Kelly, Dabo, and Riley. I don't know when those pictures were taken and obviously somebody could have been slouching, but he looks at least 5'11", and he's still only 16.
247 says he's 5'10.5", 200 lbs.
ESPN says he's 5'11", 200 lbs.
On3 says he's 5'10", 202 lbs.
Maxpreps 6'0", 205 lbs.

These were his official measurements at a camp over the summer

Drew Brees wasn't all world in high school.
This kid has the tools to be a Drew Brees one day! He's probably further along then Drew was at 17

When Brees started for two seasons, Westlake went 28–0–1.
Definitely a similar comparison :-)
Why do all NELA fans act like Canadians..so defensive.
Houston will never see the field unless mop up.

You have obviously never seen this kid play. And to further prove my point, you think Evangel is in NELA.

Heard that LSU was SUPER HIGH on Houston, although they believe Haven is talented they believe Houston Ceiling is much higher

On3/Rivals ranks him as the #8 QB in HS
247 Has him at 14
ESPN ranks him #1
But you don't think he'll ever be a starter in college.

HOLY BATMAN, you Yankees above I-10 are in love with Houston..let it go.
He's a great HS QB..I hope he makes it and he'll play college QB no doubt....
But...
As for starting a meaningful SEC game for LSU, I have my doubts. Cut his hair and he's closer to 5'9 without shoes...
Hell be a great QB for LA Tech when he transfers...and that's OK.

That did not stop Bryce Young and Kyler Murray from becoming No. 1 picks overall in the NFL draft.

What a dumbass opinion. Dude is a walking highlight reel yet he will never sniff the field. Houston must’ve done something to you to really piss you off because there is absolutely no reason to be dogging a guy that looks that good. He’s racking up huge numbers against really good competition lol.
You can have little Nuss. I’ll take Houston all day.

Short QB's can succeed if, and only if:
1. They are ELITE processors both pre-snap and post-snap in the dropback passing game.
2. The offense builds in lots of rollouts, perimeter quick game & screen game to counteract interior offensive lineman getting upfield in their throwing lanes.

Put him in the VR room soon as he signs on...

Agreed, this whole a qb cant make it at 6'0 argument started in the NFL when guys just lined up under center. Now that majority of snaps are taken from the shotgu, it really is alot less difficult to see over linemen and see the whole field sitting 3 or 4 yards behind the center presnap. Will he be sucssessful in the NFL? Who knows but he can be a very good, elite college qb at his current size much less what ever he is in two years.

Houston completed 19-of-25 passes for 428 yards and 6 TDs on Evangel's final six drives in a 62-14 win over Huntington. The nation's No. 10 signal caller also rushed for a score.
On the year, the 5-foot-11, 200-pounder has hit on 67 percent of his throws (99-of-147) for 1,890 yards (378.0 a game) with 17 TDs and only 3 INTs. He's added another 5 scores and 464 yards on 41 rushes. Fyi, Joe Sloan was in attendance
