if you can get him cheaper then last year, and he is ok to a 1 year backup role to Chambliss, then ok. Probably won't take that, so he isn't a take

He was terrible this season. If Underwood starts against Clemson, you guys will be begging for Van Buren again.

you haven't watched them both play if you prefer van buren to underwood. that's also completely ignoring the fact that one is the most talented consensus prospects of the last decade and the other is michael van buren.

but bringing in BU would be backward move for LSU setting back the program at least two years . Bad bad move.

How?

He won’t leave Michigan if you are offering a pay cut.

That’s what I’m saying. He was placed in a run first offense. He doesn’t even have a QB coach up until earlier this week when they hired one.

I didn’t see terrible when I watched him. I saw a young qb in a system that has struggled to produce good qb play for over a decade. As much as you goofy bastards are butt hurt about him going to UM, he is still an elite talent that can be coached up to his full potential.

Jaxson Dart Freshman year at USC
61.9% Completions, 9 TD, 5 INT, 7.2 yards rushing/Game

Byrce Underwood Freshman year at Mich
61.1% Completions, 9 TD, 6 INT, 26.9 yards rushing/Game

We all know what Jaxson did after transferring to OM and getting coached under Lane. Steady improvement year after year.

Not to be a buzz kill but you are assuming he will take the responsibility required to be "coached up"...

Sometimes people with a great deal of raw talent have the tendency to simply coast on that talent...

Having said that I have no idea where this guy is at... he might be hungry to have someone coach him up...

He wasn't terrible. He was a freshman starter and played like it.

Leavitt has 2 yrs left, 1st can be solid experienced starter who fits lanes system. If hes avg or above avg for sec qb its a hr vs what mvb saga was like watching. And his 2nd yr here could be a big one for lanes 2nd yr

He’s could miss a huge chunk of the year. Lisfranc surgery is no joke.

Matt Mauck overcame Lisfranc (French soldier who got his foot caught in stirrups) and led LSU to 2003 NC. MM was victim of a deliberate Gator lineman stomp in 2003-2003 game. BTW, UF was our only loss in 2003-2004 NC year!

Lisfranc was the doctor who performed the amputation, not the soldier who was injured.

Why have rushing yards in comparison and leave out rushing TDs?
